  • Coaches BDM and BDC's on client and opportunity strategies, ensuring that all objectives, strategies and actions are implemented, achieved and reported
  • Ensures the adoption of the Miller Heiman framework across the sales team and monitors sales effectiveness
  • Develops strong relationships with senior and executive management of prospect and client organizations. Effectively identifies prospect/client needs and proposes appropriate Vanguard solutions
  • Uses expertise of market and competitive environments to help position Vanguard's services appropriately
  • Eight to ten years financial services experience with at least five years in a senior level client or prospect relationship role. Three to five years of successful adviser sales experience preferred
  • Proven ability to successfully develop strong working relationships with executive management in the prospect organization and internally within Vanguard
  • Completion of PS146 qualification will be required
  • Extensive knowledge of investment offerings and/or retirement plan services
  • Strong knowledge of the institutional competitive environment, preferred
  • Excellent executive presence, poise and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and personnel development skills
