  • Assists with washing, sanitizing, and restocking of service-ware and tray delivery carts following established procedures
  • Assures the caf� service area is maintained during service hours by wiping tables, cleaning dining areas, keeping dirty trays controlled, and servicing customers as needed
  • Checks and records dish machine temperatures to ensure proper sanitation of service-ware, reporting any deficient temperatures to a supervisor
  • Disposes trash according to procedures and cleans and sanitizes refuse containers
  • Follows all fire, hazardous, safety and disaster procedures according to Environment of Care policies
  • Maintains food safety and cleanliness by applying HACCP concepts throughout service
  • Performs sanitation for assigned work areas in accordance with department procedures and health department guidelines
  • Sweeps, mops, and cleans floors in caf� service areas and kitchen areas
