  • Prepare monthly internal financial statements and recap analysis; including the computation and posting of all month end journals to Business Works accounting system
  • Prepare IRS Forms 990 and 5500 and Summary Annual Report (SAR)
  • Provides assistance to external audit staffby preparing all PBC (prepared by client) material, managing the confirmation process and responding to information requests andquestions
  • Perform all balance sheet account reconciliations including researching and correcting reconcilingitems
  • Facilitate correction of enrollment discrepancies by working with local YMCAstaff and internalresources
  • Prepare and maintain electronic copies of selected monthly claim information reports from third party reporting systems
  • Maintain the integrity of the Plans general ledger system
  • Verifies bank or other financial transactions
  • Compiles data for financial reports, creates reports/spreadsheets as required
  • Supports the Plan’s annual trends and benchmarks data collection process and reporting as required
  • Responsible for maintaining the Plan’s WellnessWorks program database including summarizing incentive program expense and communicating Health Assessment results to local YMCAs
