Serve as the Provost’s liaison to the NC State Board of Trustees’ University Affairs Committee when the Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Affairs is unavailable, including submitting agenda items and materials, assisting the Provost and Committee Chair with pre-meeting preparations, and attending the meeting and taking minutes
Administer the UMass-MSP collective bargaining agreement and other policies related to academic personnel, including meeting regularly with union representatives, informally resolving disputes related to academic personnel, representing the chancellor in grievance proceedings and arbitrations
