The Visual Merchandiser designs, develops, and executes merchandise displays that enhance not only the store’s aesthetic, but focuses on core merchandise that the buyers and production planners have deemed to be the focus of their shipment.
The Visual Merchandiser aims to create a strong creative display that enhances the product and the merchandise’s assortment, all while remaining in brand with the company’s message and direction.
Merchandising of the store may include but is not limited to store fixtures, merchandise placeholders, signage, mannequins, in-store displays, window installations, as well as other additional décor pieces that enhance the client’s experience in the store.
The Visual Merchandiser works closely with Buyers, Ecommerce Buyers, the Allocations and Planning Teams, Promotions and Marketing Specialists, as well as Upper Management.
A visual merchandiser must be extremely organized, have an eye to detail and color, strong communication and time management skills, work with cross-functional teams, and must be prepared to travel to various stores.
