  • Partner with in-country marketers to ensure the successful planning and execution of all event programs. Ensure the programs deliver measureable results, remain within budget, meet or exceed program goals, and exemplify the Concur brand
  • Strategically support partner and industry events to ensure Concur brand and message is consistent and effective
  • Project management including (but not limited to) budget management, revenue generation, accounting, venue selection, vendor sourcing and management, project plan management, event promotion and registration, on-site event management, event measurement and analytics, prioritization and resolving issues
  • Utilize measurement and analytics to deliver event against expected business results and key performance targets
  • Lead core planning meetings across marketing groups, driving alignment against shared objectives
  • Build and distribute regular pre-event status reports and post-event reports
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, product teams, PR, and executive management to achieve business goals via event marketing
  • Manage vendor partner selection and maintain relationships to ensure high standards are consistently met
  • Define and manage detailed event processes for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
  • Strategically align with in-country marketing leads across EMEA to deliver all aspects of a conference or tradeshow from planning, execution and wrap-up including
  • Manage event budgets and negotiate all necessary vendor contracts
  • Book and coordinate the venue and accommodations
  • Ensure insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are adhered to
  • Oversee the planning for room layouts and event logistics including AV, speaker needs, catering, collateral and giveaways, and executive meetings
  • Coordinate staffing requirements and staff briefings
  • Facilitate the selling of sponsorship/stand/exhibition space to potential partners as necessary across EMEA
  • Manage Concur brand thorough signage and booth properties in conjunction with Creative Services
  • Implement best practices, standardized project management processes, and shared vendor solutions across global event teams. Identify and implement cost-savings opportunities
  • Introduce and encourage new ideas that continually evolve the experience for our event attendees
