  • Represents CenturyLink's interests in complying with federal acquisition policies and regulations, presenting recommendations and preparing positions to management, negotiation of strategic plans and contracts, and implementing compliance processes as required

Document and communicate risk and compliance issues to executive management to facilitate decision making
  • Work directly and collaboratively with clients and staff and be involved in complex post-award contracting issues in the acquisition environment including disputes and appeals, claims, intellectual and technical data rights, post-award pricing and negotiations, terminations, contract modifications, value engineering, contractor systems reviews, property administration, quality assurance, contract financing, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), labor relations, contract performance monitoring and surveillance, and contractor performance evaluations (CPARS). Complete all required certifications and other data and follow policies with respect to the Truth in Negotiations Act and CenturyLink's Code of Conduct. Interface directly with government auditors on cost or price proposals and business system audits
  • Knowledge and application of functions and capabilities of cross functional disciplines in performance of end to end lifecycle management
  • BS/BA degree in Business or related field required; 12+ years professional experience in federal government contracting. 
  • Security clearance is required, primary work group supports DoD community but assigned agency workloads are based on business needs
