  • Create digital and social media video content for platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube in an effort to support athletics recruiting and promotional efforts
  • Serve as the department liaison of the Ohio Valley Conference Digital Network (OVCDN). Provide support for football and basketball broadcasts produced by the APSU Mass Communications Department. Oversee OVCDN streaming broadcasts for other sports within the department including baseball, softball, volleyball and women’s soccer and other department events
  • Manage relationships with external broadcast partners such as ESPN3 in the preparation and production of live broadcasts and related on-demand content
  • Assist with the recruitment and management of student interns in order to support project workload and game day staffing needs for the athletics department
  • Some travel required for away games, postseason tournaments, media days, etc
  • Experience with live event production
  • Familiarity with Daktronics video displays
  • Experience with in-game
  • Two (2) years of experience in video production, social media content creation, and/or live video production
  • Proficiency with video production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro. Avid non-linear editing, Adobe After Effects/ Premier/ Creative Suite and NewTek platforms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and other software such as Cinema4D, Adobe Audition and Adobe SpeedGrade, Apple Motion, Wirecast, and ATEM software
  • Knowledge of digital/social media applications and experience with Premiere Pro or other applicable editing software
