  • Assist in the implementation of newly issued authoritative accounting guidance. Identify and assess the technical accounting implications of transactions related to leases, consolidation, and other areas as needed
  • Collaborate with other accounting personnel during monthly close to ensure that various accounting transactions are in compliance with US GAAP and applicable company policies

  • Typically requires a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline along with eight or more years of progressive experience in accounting with a bachelor's degree or six or more years of experience with a master's degree. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education
  • Must possess an active CPA license
  • Experience with evaluating and recommending improvements to internal control processes and systems either from an independent audit or a private company environment
  • Must have an eye for facts-and-circumstances details, the ability to detect nuances, and the ability to understand the direct and indirect consequences of applied guidance to existing and pending transactions
  • Maintain a high level of professional ethics and integrity
  • Able to multitask efficiently, meet deadlines. Must be able to balance independent work with contributing in a team environment
  • Strong competency in Word and Excel and willingness to learn new systems. Knowledge/experience with ERP business systems is desired (SAP preferable)
