  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Education Program, with a Master’s Degree in a related field, or graduation from a program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education programs prior to January 1998, is required
  • Applicants must have successfully completed the National Certification Examination to be a CRNA and maintain current certification
  • Candidate must have sufficient sensory capacity to observe the patient and patient monitors
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively, in both academic and health care settings
  • Must show evidence of effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work in teams, possess demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, and effectively function in the face of uncertainties, inherent in clinical practice
