Coordinate with Customer Service to initiate movement of inventory between locations to satisfy a customer order
Assists to identify and recover product impacted by a recall
Peforms cycle counts or assists warehouse employees to perform cycle counts, reconciliations and disposition of product in all inventory locations within the DJO Surgical Facility
Assists with VMI packaging process associated with clean room activities
Monitors RMA returns for product complaints related items and communicates with field to address timeliness of receipts
Tracks agency consigned implant inventory levels compared to sales and communicates results monthly
Sets up new agency inventory levels within MRP system
Troubleshoots inventory discrepancies at order entry by customer Service and takes corrective action
Performs other duties as assigned by Planning Supervisor
Two or more years of practical experience in a similar position
APICS certification is desirable
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnishes in written and oral or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variable in standardized situations
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, or equivalent word processing software; Excel, or equivalent spreadsheet software and Oracle, or equivalent inventory software. Experience with Microsoft Office software. Understanding of Global ERP system and supply chain processes
