  • Review and distribute proofs of loss for property claims when applicable; coordinate payment from carriers, distribute settlement checks and save documents accordingly
  • Report environmental claims as appropriate; monitor record only claims and provide updates to carriers when requested
  • Review liability incident reports to ensure they have been reported correctly
  • Verify renewal invoices and additional and return premiums due to policy adjustments; process for payment and/or distribute return premium checks
  • Assist with acquisition, development and post-closing processes including but not limited to providing insurance quotes, obtaining documentation, approving invoice calculations, processing invoices for payment, updating location code schedule, distributing Insurance Manual and saving appropriate information

  • Redact and distribute policies and/or endorsements to lenders and insurance consultants when applicable

  • Promptly respond to internal and external clients’ inquiries pertaining to coverage, claims issues, etc. in a professional and polite manner
  • Good writing skills to be used in preparation of routine correspondence, e.g. memos, letters, and emails; editing and proofreading documents; scanning, saving and emailing such documents in readable format

  • 4-5 years of risk management experience in commercial real estate
  • Solid knowledge of property and casualty insurance
