  • Working within project management methodology as it relates to the delivery of technology; planning, implementation, configuration, testing and skills transfer
  • Presenting solutions to customers, business partners or IBM stakeholders
  • Providing consultative advice on the latest technology developments within IBM
  • Running classroom based technical content or courses as required for the purposes of enabling business partners or providing skills transfer to customers
  • LINUX & AIX (installing/configuring and migrating predominately using NIM)
  • LPARs (being managed by HMC or IVM and understanding LPAR profiling)
  • PowerVC and Cloud Orchestration
  • Virtual I/O (mainly NPIV, vSCSI and SEA)
  • PowerHA (mainly two node clusters with basic resource group configuration)
  • LDAP/Windows ADS
  • SAN (Fibre Channel/SAS direct attached and iSCSI) and Storage (Midrange subsystems and NAS)
  • Shell Scripting/Perl
  • Networking (basic IP Schema, routing, DNS, NTP knowledge)
  • Excellent technical hands-on implementation experience
  • Experience architecting and designing integrated solutions
  • Tertiary qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in IBM’s suite of storage technology and offerings
