  • Attend to all consumer cancellation requests with the intent of increasing retention to the Agency’s book of business
  • Respond to consumer requests for guidelines and/or acceptability of risk
  • Assist and support lead generation programs and campaigns
  • Promptly and accurately process policy endorsements via online systems
  • Advise management of questionable risks
  • Process cancellation of unacceptable risks
  • Review renewal offers to identify policies at risk of not renewing
  • Generate quote with various carriers to present options for consumers at risk of not renewing
  • Place outbound calls to advise consumers of pending cancellation
  • Assist with initial and ongoing training of Agency Clerks
  • Two (2) years previous customer care experience; call center experience preferred
  • Detailed knowledge of underwriting insurance principles, rate manuals, insurance laws and coverages
  • Must possess Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Pleasant telephone demeanor and multitasking skills
  • Must proficiently speak, read, and write both English and Spanish
  • Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of insurance underwriting principles, laws, and coverages is preferred
