  • Professionally answer phone calls and emails; respond or appropriately route inquiries or issues regarding delivery, scheduling, shipping, or any other miscellaneous warehouse, inventory, kitting, or transportation issues
  • Print all orders for will call, rapids, and common carriers and work with the supervisor to assign the orders to warehouse workers and loaders in accordance to priority and the collective bargaining agreement
  • Obtain freight quotes for all orders shipping via common carrier
  • Check in freight and process bills for Kitting Department
  • Maintain various log’s for will call, receiving, common carriers, couriers, kitting, outbound, production, transportation, and inventory
  • Print, review, manage, and file paperwork for, POD’s, Kitting receipts, FedEx reports, freight bills, inventory and driver paperwork, damages, off-site product etc
  • Identify and obtain proper documents for inbound shipments, damaged merchandise, customer returns
  • Add freight charges to customer accounts in accordance to Comp[any procedures
  • Schedule inbound and outbound freight, including freight that requires a delivery request via courier or LTL carrier
  • Act as point person for warehouse order processing: process order holds, ship confirm orders that have been processed, print consolidated POD’s, and enter same day refusal RGA’s
  • Receive all items into the warehouse and sales management programs. Maintain accurate system and physical inventory balances within the internal Warehouse Management System. Key appropriate inventory adjustments to add, modify, or delete inventory in the Warehouse Management System to ensure ongoing accuracy
  • Print sold orders and put a ways; communicate any changes or issues to the warehouse management team, purchasing, and customer service as needed
  • Perform daily cycle counts as directed by the inventory supervisor; assist with product identification and location inquires
  • Perform new item set up procedures in a timely manner
  • Work as back up to other warehouse operation positions
  • Ability to develop proficiency with company computer system is essential. Familiarity with a computerized warehouse system preferred
  • Ability to promote safe work environment
  • Associate’s degree or at least 2 years completed toward bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years working in a warehouse/logistics environment. Distribution warehousing preferred
