  • Serves as an integral member of the Corporate Security Team. Provides backup and support to other members of the team as needed
  • Coaches, develops and manages a small team of Security Leads
  • 8 or more years experience with a major law enforcement, military, intelligence, public or private sector security organization
  • Utility industry experience is a plus
  • The following certifications are preferred: CPP, PSP, PCI, CFE or CISSP
  • Excellent team and consensus building skills
  • Ability to positively influence NiSource employees, peers and management
  • Strong personal initiative, proven decision-making ability, integrity, confidentiality
  • Proven leadership skills, specifically the ability to manage, motivate, coach and hold employees accountable in a positive manner

  • Extensive knowledge of asset protection, security investigations, operations, systems, and techniques
  • Superior oral, written, presentation and communication skills
