Ph.D. in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or related field
Knowledge of the principles and techniques of x-ray imaging systems and methods
Computer programming experience with MATLAB or IDL, C/C++, and Python
Experience with GEANT4 or similar Monte Carlo modeling toolkit
Experience with implementing computational neural network architecture
Experience in image reconstruction for tomographic x-ray imaging
Experience in image processing and segmentation
Experience with performing empirical evaluations such as modulation transfer function and noise power spectrum measurements
History of peer-reviewed publications

Experience with any of following: thermoacoustic imaging, acoustoelectric imaging, electrical impedance imaging, elasticity imaging, speckle tracking, functional brain or cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, ultrasound signal processing, beamforming and reconstruction, COMSOL, FOCUS, Field-II, SolidWorks, 3D printing, machine shop, working with animal or human subjects
