  • Represent credit team in interactions with senior management in Branches (Retail/CBC/TDS) as well as merchants to negotiate security packages and resolve customer issues
  • Represent Risk Management group as part of the RFP Deal Team
  • Work directly with leadership team on adhoc projects/initiatives
  • Identify, recommend and lead process improvement initiatives to mitigate risk and streamline the overall credit assessment process
  • Take a leadership role within the credit group in identifying opportunities that require escalation to the bank’s regulatory risk groups
  • Interpret and apply TD Merchant Solutions’ Credit policies
  • Take a leadership role in submitting recommendations to amend the existing credit policy guidelines
  • Liase with the Payment Card Networks to keep abreast of changes and/or updates to regulations
  • Oversee and manage the process of documenting Credits in CARMA per TDMS Policy and in keeping with all Bank guidelines
  • Participate in projects to enhance the Analytical depth of the Merchant Solutions Credit Team
  • Ensure Team is knowledgeable of, and complies with, TDMS, TDBFG and Payment Processing Industry policies and procedures
  • Monitor Service level agreements with the applicable sales channels to ensure timelines are met
  • Participate effectively as a member of the Management team by contributing knowledge and skills to assist with decision making, projects and initiatives
  • Provide business support to the other groups within Merchant Service as well as to outside business partners, while ensuring that risk policies are upheld and maintained
  • Oversee monthly reporting on the Managed accounts portfolio and identify any issues/opportunities that require further escalation
  • Involvement with helping manage the Action Planning process for TD Pulse initiatives
  • Participate in leadership meetings
