  • Capital or comprehensive campaign experience
  • CFRE certification
  • Responsible for the strategic visioning and ongoing development, management, coordination and administration of an effective university-wide Regional Development program
  • Set goals for the program in coordination with other university college and unit development teams in the various colleges and units
  • Prepare long and short-term business plans and pipeline for the Regional Development program, including campaign strategies
  • Manage oversight of the department including budgeting, program direction, policy oversight and development as well as supervision
  • Train, direct and manage team
  • Supervise and conduct performance reviews for staff. Monitors the quality of work, motivates, supports, and ensures accuracy of project responsibilities
  • Manage annual budget of approximately $160,000, which includes sub-account for each regional development officer on the team. Ensures prudent management in alignment with State of Colorado procurement policies and guidelines
  • Execute regular meetings with campus partners to coordinate major gift development efforts including planning collaborative travel with campus partners, developing prospect strategy, and gathering information from campus partners to best represent their specific college/unit
  • Communicate value and efforts of Regional Development team to campus partners. Utilize tools, such as dashboard, to demonstrate our efforts on our campus partners’ behalf. Send communication to share our weekly visits schedule with campus partners
  • Develop necessary resources in a timely manner to prepare campus partners for donor visits and ensure follow up is properly executed
