  • Patient appointment scheduling, Consult tracking documentation, patient pre-procedure instructions and post-procedure education
  • Performs regular exercise testing, which includes graded maximal stress testing with Nuclear Imaging, cardiopulmonary stress testing, and stress echocardiography
  • Performs pharmacologic stress testing with nuclear imaging or echocardiography
  • Performs holter monitor procedures, scans data and generates a report for further evaluation by the physician
  • Prepares and monitors patient during transesophogeal echocardiogram
Qualifications for rn-cardiac
  • Bachelors or higher degree from an accredited Professional School of Nursing
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in CCU/ICU, coronary step-down units or Cardiac Rehab Program
  • Knowledge/course work in exercise physiology and C/PR physiology its application for various patient groups
