- General Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), including Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Pre-Start-up Safety Review (PSSR)
- Chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and petroleum engineering degrees are preferred for candidates with degrees
- Previous leadership or supervision work experience
- Previous experience as a process engineer in the Gas Processing or Oil and Gas Industry
- Knowledge of the DCP Project Management Process or other Industry Standard Practices such as Construction Industry Institute (CII) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Knowledge of the DCP Engineering Standards, Required Practices (RPs), and General Construction Specification
- General knowledge of facility equipment design specifications, including: compression, pumps, separation, heat exchange, distillation columns, and fluid flow
