  • Ensure dissemination, explanation and analysis of quality, timely and accurate routine and ad hoc financial management reports to the business to inform and support decision making
  • Taking direction from Head of Regional Finance Business Partnering, provide financial expertise to advise and assist the business with annual planning, course consolidation, budget and regular progress reporting by facilitating use of templates, tools and ensuring alignment with TAFE NSW’s strategic business directions and financial requirements
  • Lead financial modelling and feasibility assessments to provide high level support on a range of specific matters requiring financial input and expertise such as International business model, commercial strategies, project costings and business case preparation
  • Build financial management acumen and capability of business managers, teams and staff by establishing collaborative relationships, tailoring advice to meet business needs, coaching and contributing to training needs identification and strategies
  • Facilitate ongoing liaison between CETO and central specialist finance teams, coordinating interface, appropriate support and assisting with communications on finance related policies and requirements
  • Place the customer at the centre of all decision making

  • Ensure your staff have meaningful and regularly reviewed individual performance management and development plans that are clearly aligned to strategic objectives and professionally develop the individual
  • Degree qualification in related field
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of high quality financial and business advice to key stakeholders within a complex organisation
  • Thorough understanding of Australian Accounting Standards, Public Finance and Audit Act, Treasurer’s Directions and other government regulations
  • Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description
