  • Responsible for one or more system parts; “own” the part within the E&D department, i.e. special role related to maintaining the documentation and the overall system
  • Authority to approve design specifications and other technical documents related to his/hers special expertise and experience
  • University level / college degree in electronics, instrumentation or relevant field. Lack of formal education may be compensated with relevant experience
  • Solid experience with analog or digital electronics and embedded system design, preferably from industrial applications
  • Experienced with design tools for schematic or pcb-layout
  • Experienced with board bring up and debugging of embedded electronics
  • Familiar with simulation of electrical components and circuits
  • Familiar with production processes for board level electronics
  • Familiar with test strategies for electronics
  • Familiar with soldering of wires and electrical components
  • Familiar with lab equipment like oscilloscopes and similar
  • Familiar with multi-chip modules and hybrid microcircuit devices
  • Familiar with tools and processes related to programmable hardware
  • Familiar with embedded software development on microcontroller level or similar
