• Current state license for Registered Nurse (RN)
• Requires a Diploma in nursing or an ASN/BSN
• Open to New Grads or Experienced RN’s
• Completes daily time log with supporting documentation in electronic record for each day worked and synchronizes at the beginning and end of each day worked
• Demonstrates and is aware of bio- ethical principles, ethical behavior in decision making and resources
• Demonstrates the knowledge of Universal Protocol which includes the verification of the surgical sites, procedural consents, "Time Out" (includes bed side procedures in post-op) and patient identifiers according to policy
• Demonstrates the knowledge and collaborates with physicians and other disciplines regarding the Post-op surgical patient's progress and continuum of patient care needs/referrals
• Assists in collecting quality data, analyzes the data, and formulates action plans to improve quality care
