• At least one IT Risk management or governance certifications, such as CISA/CRISC/CGEIT/CISSP Certifications
• BA / BS in IT or a related field
• A sound knowledge of banking activities, including retail and commercial banking, risk management techniques and the current regulatory environment in the U.S. Financial Service Industry
• Experience as an IT practitioner with focus on subject areas -- application development, infrastructure, technology resiliency, IT security, production management

• The Credit Risk Control function is driving the uplift of the control framework within BI
• Prior experience in either a risk governance or audit function
• Familiarity with metadata management tools such as Informatica
• Exposure to Risk Governance Frameworks (COSO/COBIT)
• A good understanding and working knowledge of mortgages would be ideal, but isn’t essential
• A good understanding of financial services regulations, conduct risk requirements and the elements of a Risk Management Framework
