• CPR Certified within 3 months of hire

• Properly and safely transports patients, secures IVs, drainage tubes, , and secures patient
• Notifies nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians or reception upon arrival for patient
• Follows universal precautions guidelines and wears appropriate personal protective equipment
• Uses good body mechanics when moving patients to and from with the use of stretchers/wheelchairs, with emphasis on patient safety, comfort and privacy
• Remains alert to changes in patient’s condition during transportation and notify appropriate personnel if changes are observed
