Previously, I was responsible for services according to the client’s plan of care created by the nurse and/or therapist and as defined by the care plan, such as housekeeping/laundry services, companionship and stimulation for the client, accompanying the client to doctors or other appointments, meal preparation, and may include grocery shopping or other errands when needed.

My experience is an excellent fit for the list of requirements in this job:

• Compliance with agency requirements listed for employment under the Policy and Procedure Application and Acceptance
• Valid Florida drivers license and safe driving record
• Successful completion of Home Health Aide certification with a minimum of 40 credit hours or equivalency testing
• Basic homemaking skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry)
• Maintains current Florida driver’s license
• Maintains automobile insurance or has reliable transportation
• Care of children in the household
• Follows and uses standard precautions regarding infection control
