Day Care Teacher Cover Letter

I submit this application to express my sincere interest in the day care teacher position.

Previously, I was responsible for supervision, direction and leadership in daily transitions with staff, children and families, as well as, implementation of activities for children ages infant through school age.

I reviewed the requirements of the job opening and I believe my candidacy is an excellent fit for this position. Some of the key requirements that I have extensive experience with include:

• Maintains current certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR
• Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and safe
• Observe children and make evaluations on progress
• Utilize and facilitate a variety of teaching methods and lessons designed to capture childrens interest and individual learning
• Maintain and meet educational requirements as it relates to the NAEYC Accreditation Standards and Criteria
