• Conflict resolution among patients and family members
• Emotional and spiritual support to health care staff
• Chaplain will cover for full time chaplains as needed

• Knowledge of grief process and unique needs of patients experiencing perinatal and neonatal loss
• Previous experience in a hospital setting either as a clinical student or work setting preferred
• Previous experience in crisis/trauma care preferred
• Previous experience with grieving parents preferred
• Ensure families in the PDA are seen by a relevant faith minister as soon as possible after their arrival
• Attend daily family review meetings when families are in residence
• Support families during the returns process, engaging with other agencies to provide support and encouragement
• Engage in all relevant safeguarding activities including monthly lessons learned reviews and training

• Prior ministry experience, especially in an institutional setting is strongly preferred
