In the previous role, I was responsible for both diagnostic and interventional procedures, including Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and Electrophysiology Studies (EPS) and Pacemaker/Defibrillator ImplantsRegistered Nurses (RNs) perform all Cath Lab functions to include scrub, monitor & circulate and provide pre and post-procedure patient care.

• Requires certification (ARRT) and licensure
• Need wide knowledge base of equipment used, how to calculate and prepare a study, how to care for a patient from start to finish, and how to deal with any emergencies
• Certified in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• BLS with American Heart Assocation
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing or radiologic technology program
• Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure or RCIS, RRT or RTR
• Require status of Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Registry (RCIS- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialty Registry) as currently administered by Cardiovascular Credentialing, inc. (CCI)
