  • Lead Research and Development, Manufacturing, and New Product Development teams in the failure analysis of products in development to root cause analysis, generate organizational lessons learned from completed analyses, and record information into a central failure analysis database
  • Collaborate with materials scientists while conducting failure analysis on new product development test issues, manufacturing floor failures and field returns to determine root cause and facilitate improvements through improvements in: design, supplier, or internal manufacturing processes
  • Lead the design and fixturing of test equipment necessary to simulate field failure modes and test theoretical causes of failure
  • Establish failure analysis metrics for product lines
  • Comply with the site quality system
  • All activities must be performed in compliance with the Quality System
  • Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations
  • Travel requirement: 20-30%
