Define governance processes to maintain robust data, to include business as usual processes to identify and fix data inconsistencies and to provide feedback to data suppliers to continuously improve the data production processes and the related outputs
Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of cross-system integration, interactions and relationships in order to develop an enterprise view of the clients (in scope) data needs
Lead business subject matter experts through the identification and definition of forecasting projects data issues, documenting the results of the analysis
Conduct data model reviews with project team members/business subject matter experts
Identify data requirements and related KPIs, metrics, etc.; perform and document data source gap analysis
Work with business leads and systems implementation partners to define database/data warehousing requirements and data interfaces
Work with internal resource and system implementation partners to design data warehouse and DataMart structures
In-depth knowledge of RDBMS systems which include Postgres and SQL Server 2012 and 2016
In-depth knowledge of ETL strategies and numerous ETL tools available on the market
Knowledge of the Kimble methodology
Good understanding and knowledge of SQL Development. This includes performance tuning and best design practices
Good understanding of Microsoft MDS and the integration of MDS between different environments
Good understanding of data governance principles
Good understanding of Source control and the management thereof
