- Work with the Manager, MIS and Business System Analysts to understand Business Requirements, source and explore data, and deliver quality technical solutions. Partner with groups across the Bank to gain access to required system data
- Involved in the full systems lifecycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting reporting and analytics solutions that are delivered on time and within budget. This includes providing work estimates, project plans, implementation plans, and providing clear documentation of functional and technical specifications based on the implemented solution
- Support our existing Business Intelligence Architecture by
- Maintaining a thorough and current comprehension of data governance concepts and techniques
- Recommending and executing strategies to improve methodology, operational efficiencies and effectiveness, and quality of deliverables
- Ensuring compliance with information security standards
- Provide sound, data mining techniques, analytical and statistical methodologies in order to provide fact-based analysis to support SSG initiatives, improve business processes, increase resource utilization and address financial accountabilities. Leverage agility and creativity to maximize value and insight delivered by data analysis
- Play a strategic role in shaping the next generation of our Datamart by defining a framework and architecture focused on Data Analytics. Continually identify, propose and assist in the integration and adoption of new technologies and methodologies as appropriate for Business Intelligence in Shared Services
- Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) and visualization Tools such as Tableau or Power BI to interpret, synthesize and deliver timely analysis and reporting that empowers Business Users and supports data democratization
- Advanced knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions, data mining and modelling skills
- Demonstrated comfort in working with large datasets
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive analytics

- Report Development Focus - SQL Server 2012 & 2016, SSRS/SSIS/SSAS 2012, T-SQL, MDX, ADOMD.NET
- Statistical Modeling Focus - SAS, R, Python, etc
- Big Data Focus - experience integrating with Hadoop
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio & Team Foundation Server 2015,
- Experience with ETL tools such as Datameer, DataStage or Alteryx
- Experience with and understanding of Agile/Scrum Methodology
