Provided day-to-day management and oversaw operational, fundraising, programmatic, marketing, educational, and production-related functions. Managed a small staff of approx. 26 (FT and PT) and volunteers that increased exponentially (up to 500) during the annual festival. Reimaged an innovative, diverse and inclusive organization while ushering in the new era of transparency (published first Annual Reports), fiscal responsibility (paid off the inherited debt) and balanced budgets. Created a new business plan focused on developing the long-term financial stability. Grew the annual budget from $2.7 million to $3.3 million. Diversified the company’s revenue streams and negotiated a two-year million-dollar challenge grant to expand the donor base. Executed a rebrand of the organization, including the launch of a new website. Oversaw the implementation of integrated digital marketing and social media strategy. Increased ticket sales by 80% and subscriptions by 36%.
