Purchasing systems specialist with wide-ranging responsibility on the Strategic Purchasing team in areas such as ePurchasing, supplier management, system integration, process review and rationalization.

On-boarded into a dual role of project buyer within a graduate trainee program. Daily project buyer responsibilities included managing cost reduction focused projects on a dedicated platform and supporting engineering with cost analysis. Ongoing trainee responsibilities included team building and collaboration along with an assigned VC project supporting analysis of telematics and analytic services for European heavy duty truck industry.

Intern opportunity during my Master's studies with a dual focus supporting the local Shanghai supply chain team. The majority of my time was spent executing market research and analysis to find potential suppliers for upcoming projects. My remaining time was spent conducting English Corners for my Chinese colleagues to support their growth in negotiating with international customers and suppliers.

I began my time at Roechling as a full-time purchasing intern during my undergraduate studies before being asked to transition to a full-time employee as a junior buyer. In those roles, I was focused on project support and procurement system training for local employees. I was then promoted to manage the MRO & CAPEX expenditures with a focus on tooling, equipment and facilities support.
