In 2012, McCorry became Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for the Wine & Spirits division, overseeing financial strategy for a $2.7 billion profit business. A few years later, he took on the Vice President of Commercial Finance role, where he further refined the company's financial processes. He implemented zero-based budgeting, centralized non-price investments, and aligned financial strategies with commercial goals, improving financial visibility and business performance.
From 2021 to 2023, McCorry served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Beer Division, managing an $8 billion revenue business. During this time, he led initiatives that optimized capital investments and drove operational efficiencies, including a $1.5 billion reduction in planned capacity investments. His strategic approach helped improve margins and ensure sustainable growth.
Before joining Constellation, McCorry worked for seven years in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andersen. He is also actively involved in philanthropy, having established a scholarship fund at his alma mater, SUNY Geneseo, and contributed to various community causes.
Thomas McCorry earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo, became a Certified Public Accountant, and completed an Executive Development Program at Dartmouth College in 2012. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their children.
