Profile:
Summary
Teddy Teece is the Managing Partner of an investment firm that connects international capital with New Zealand’s light industrial sector. His background includes entrepreneurship, investing, philanthropy, finance, technology, executive coaching, and real estate. Across these fields, he has focused on creating long-term value while bringing together financial performance, purpose, service, and environmental responsibility.
Teddy's family ties to New Zealand extend across five generations. An early life shaped by two hemispheres and coasts helped develop his global perspective and entrepreneurial approach. In his current work, he supports long-term and lifestyle-oriented investors who seek financial returns while building meaningful economic, environmental, and infrastructure connections to New Zealand.
As founder and managing partner, Teddy directs acquisition strategies across the country’s “golden triangle,” focusing on light industrial businesses. His firm seeks established companies that contribute to national infrastructure. He also works with families and investors interested in residency and in making a meaningful contribution to the country’s economy.
During his first year in an Executive MBA program, Teddy developed the firm’s business plan and investment thesis. The model combines private equity and search fund approaches with local partnerships, community events, and philanthropic opportunities. Earlier in his career, he helped build an investment bank that processed eight- and nine-figure transactions. He also co-founded a marketplace for unique experiences. He later helped develop a family business consulting service supporting executives, business families, and next-generation leaders across the United States, the Middle East, and New Zealand.
Beyond finance, Teddy has developed a nonprofit and executive retreat destination near Boulder, Colorado, centered on connection, reflection, wellness, and community. He has helped build features on the forty-acre property and has led teams as a general contractor. Since 2017, he has supported Navy SEAL families and helped raise six- and seven-figure sums for charitable causes.
Teddy Teece is an Executive MBA candidate who continues to work with a New Zealand-based team, support charitable organizations, work the land, write, drum, and pursue long-term efforts centered on service, mental health, resilience, community, and lasting partnerships.
