Portfolio Management: Priority for the role is to manage a portfolio of projects with combined investment value of $140 million at Brooklyn, NY headquarters facility. Projects are supporting 2023 production ramp up targets and enabling the acquisition of priority customer base critical for Regional Farm 1 expansion in PA. Upon successful implementation, the expected net clients are 20 - totaling over 250 stores and unlocking $1.8 million in gross revenue. In this capacity, I oversee 20 employees consisting of design engineers, operators, agricultural scientists, and quality assurance engineers.
Project Management: The project manager portion of my role involves co-management of 7 scrum teams of 20 cross-discipline members. Due to limited resources, I also support as a Scrum Project Owner for 2 project sprints critical to achieve our HQ Ramp Up OKRs: Seeding/Germination Process Optimization and Shelf-Life Moisture Reduction. With the key result to achieve 14-day Shelf Life for our greens within 8 weeks our team has increased shelf-life from 8-9 days to 11-12 days while maintaining our quality standards. Additional contributing projects include Forced Air-drying cabinet development, Harvester and ASRS improvements, Sormac Filter redesign, and Spin dryer process optimization.
People Management: As people manager of the General Engineering Department, I directly support 6 mechanical design engineers and 2 engineering projects managers with weekly one-on-one sessions, daily consultation, and personalized coaching. To enable effective prioritization for the team, this role involves daily hands-on collaboration with company founders, senior managers, financial controllers, and production managers across the organization to develop project budget, manage schedules and ensure quality for projects and products.

Team Management and Leadership: managed a team of 3 manufacturing engineers and 2 process technicians; responsible for process development and troubleshooting weld, braze, cleaning and NDT processes. Supported the Business Operations Team as the technical lead for manufacturing goal setting and forecasting. May 2018 to May 2019, stepped in as Assistant Production Manager to support production and strategic planning.

Process Development and Maintenance: managed manufacturing cell development for new and existing product. Developed operating procedures and work instructions to guide manufacturing team through critical operations.

Consumable and Equipment Management: developed management systems for weld wire, weld rings, and brazing materials using PowerApps to track deductions and automate communication for replenishment. Manage machine repairs, down-time, and calibration schedules while coordinating with production staff to limit product shipment impacts.
