Steve attended Southern Technical Institute in Marietta, GA. In 1987, he saw an opportunity to provide the building industry with innovative siding products to lower installation costs for commercial exteriors. Creative Wall Products offered affordable solutions for commercial facades, providing beauty comparable to traditional materials like metal, stucco, and wood grain.
As Master Wall’s success grew, Steve expanded his business with Creative Wall Products, promoting engineered wall systems that outperformed traditional cladding. The EIFS product line includes finishes such as textured stucco, wood grain, brick, and stone, all designed to improve energy efficiency when paired with the company’s thermal and moisture protection components.
Steve’s leadership and expertise have been crucial in the success of both companies. His business acumen and dedication have fostered strong industry relationships. Master Wall now operates multiple manufacturing sites across the country, providing product testing and innovative solutions to meet the needs of modern construction.
Steve G. Smithwick remains involved in the EIFS Industry Member Association (EIMA), where he has served in leadership roles. He is also dedicated to his community, supporting local organizations and mentoring young people through his work at Calvary Christian School and his efforts to help older adults. He has been married to Donnie for 51 years and is a proud father and grandfather.
