Responsibilities/Accomplishments: Full division general management responsibilities/accountability for all aspects of manufacturing location (EHS, HR, Accounting, Forestry Procurement, Transportation, Quality, Maint. / Reliability) including interacting with sales/customers of the products the mill will generate (Product Dimension SYP). Implement all safety/ environmental rules and regulations set forth by Governmental Agencies. Ensure and maintain compliance with all corporate policies and procedures. Active leadership and management of Non-union work force of 148 associates (21 Salaried and 127 Hourly).

• Full P&L responsibility for safe production of more than $60 million dollars in Sales Revenue (manufacturing approximately 150 million MBF of dimension southern yellow pine lumber), procurement, kiln drying, and shipments, and facility interaction with customers.
• Re-Organized Facilities Management Staff and provided depth and development through KPI’s
• Provided leadership for safe operations and successful recertification of VPP Star for facility.
• Process Improvement efforts with Capital Equipment upgrades and justifications. (IRR, NPV, Pro-Forma Development) with budgeting for current capital project $38 Million Dry End renovation (Climatized) completed on time and on budget.
• Continuously analyzing production flows and leading others to never accept the ("Status Quo"). Achieving a $12/MBF reduction in dry end cost (48% reduction)
• Moved Sales Mix of Primary breakdown to enhance sales average of overall product (8.3% sustained improvement).
• Improved recovery by 4.4% for an annualized savings of $.9 million (achieved utilizing DOE methodology)

Responsibilities/Accomplishments: Full general management responsibilities/accountability for three manufacturing locations; oversee all aspects of the plant operations as well as interacting with procurement of raw materials and sales/customers of the products the mill will generate (Product Dimension SYP). Implement all safety/ environmental rules and regulations set forth by Governmental Agencies. Ensure and maintain compliance with all corporate policies and procedures. Active leadership and management of 3 Non-Union Work forces of 363 direct and indirect associates (5 direct salaried and 358 indirect salary and hourly).

• Full P&L responsibility for area production of more than $150 million dollars in Sales Revenue (manufacturing approximately 350 million MBF of dimension southern yellow pine lumber), kiln drying, and shipments, and facility interaction with customers.
• Re-Staffed Facilities with personnel and provided development systems such as KPI’s and performance management.
• Continuously analyzing production flows and leading others to never accept the ("Status Quo") Achieving 23%-18% through put improvement at several facilities.
• Focus on evoking change management through implementation of OPEX Methodology to optimize/reduce costs.

Responsibilities/Accomplishments: Full general management responsibilities/accountability for all Manufacturing Operations, Logistics and Warehousing (Internal and External), coordination of procurement activities for all raw materials (33 raw material sku’s) required for production of 232 SKU's. Interface with Sales/Customers (Lowes, Home Depot, Lumber Liquidators, Branded Products) of the products the factory generated (Products Consumer Goods). Developed and implemented safety/environmental rules and regulations set forth by governmental agencies. Active leadership and management of Non-Union Work force of 184 direct and indirect associates (8 direct salaried and 176 indirect salary and hourly).

• Full P&L responsibility with total Sales Volume more than $180 million (20 - 24 million M2 of laminate flooring).
• Full Operational responsibility for all Manufacturing activities and all support functions (more than 232 SKU's).
• Full accountability for factory/sales/customer interface, ensuring that customer expectations are met achieving a .5% of sales to claims rate from finished goods.
• Lead operation team to achieve and maintain ISO 9000 certification in addition to Green Guard Certification (LEED Points).
• Lead application of Six Sigma and Continuously analyzed production flows and led others to continuously improve processes increasing capacity 38% (tools utilized were SMED, Value stream mapping, and process flow (ABC analysis)).
• Lead Warehousing efforts for offsite warehouse and on time delivery to customer base (Home Depot, Lowes, and Pergo)
• Lead Procurement effort for Raw Material for manufacturing achieving consistent savings without loss of quality.
• Led improvement efforts in equipment upgrades and justifications. (IRR, NPV, Pro-Forma Development)
• Lead and managed 43.5 million euros of capital improvements and expansion (specification, purchasing, staffing, and starting up) of multiple production lines (Homag, Wemhoner, and Vitts)
• Implemented of programs 5-S, MP2 (CMMS), Preventative Maintenance, and SOP Training.
• Drove the budgeting and goal setting process for Manufacturing Operations, achieving record cost reductions.
• Development of Lean Six Sigma approach to Quality control and development of culture accordingly.
