  • Full P&L control over both companies.
  • Six direct reports including the CFO, General Manager, Director of Marketing, Director of Business Development and the VP of Sales.
  • Over 50 full time employees, 150 seasonal employees and 50 independent sales agents
  • Evaluated, selected and currently implementing a new property management system. The new system is an integrated CRM, marketing, booking, property management and website software that will allow Seaside Vacations to streamline operations and marketing.
  • Restructured the management scoreboards to move to a goal oriented weekly tracking system emphasizing results against KPI’s to hold individual managers accountable.

  • Negotiated and Structured equity and debt financings of acquisitions and dispositions, post-acquisition integration and operational and financial improvement in portfolio companies.
  • Acted as co-President of a portfolio company, adding financial and organizational structure, negotiating and executing long term structured contracts with Fortune 50 clients; increased revenue from approximately $90MM to over $500MM in a three year span and improved EBITDA margins from less than 9% to greater than 11%.
  • Recruited and managed a team of investment professionals including analysts, associates and vice presidents in addition to support and administrative personnel.
  • Managed relationships with equity investors, including both high net worth individuals and institutions, as well as with lenders and other investment firms.
  • Opened offices and worked in London, Miami and Philadelphia.

Gaming VC acquired the assets of a German language online gaming enterprise by performing a back-to-back acquisition and IPO on the London Stock Exchange. The asset was acquired for €105 million and floated at €160 million while the Principals retained approximately 32% of the publicly traded shares.

  • Performed essential due diligence, negotiations, explored various sources of funding for the initial acquisitions/IPO and worked closely with counsel to design the international tax structure and to ensure that the company complied with all international and US laws.
  • Led the investor relations, banking, maintenance of the international tax structure and audit functions of the publicly traded entity post IPO.
  • Established the international banking structure to comply with tax codes, anti-money laundering practices and dividend cash flows to the publicly traded LSE traded entity.
  • Installed Financial and Accounting Systems to take the company from non-publicly traded accounting and financial control standards to a full public company audit performed by KPMG within the first six months.
  • Instrumental member of the business development and corporate strategy team, analyzing and negotiating entry into new geographic markets and products, potential acquisitions and offers to purchase.
