At the age of 15, I was thrown into the NYC business realm, and I loved every moment of it. I knew then that I wanted to pursue a career in public relations or marketing. Since then, I continued to follow my dream by taking public relations courses at the University of Maryland, College Park, and interning at six companies in the energy, music, real estate, cosmetics, entertainment and fashion industries.

When people ask me why I have worked in such varying fields, I explain that I want to try anything and everything until I find what I love. This has also allowed me to adapt my skills for many different demographics and audiences, whether it is writing, editing or designing.

One of the greatest lessons I learned is that failure is a stepping stone on the road to success, not a dead end. If I do not succeed the first time, I learn from my mistakes and move forward until I succeed.
