Job Profile:

Carried out detailed mechanical design work including 3D modeling, verification testing as required. Agreeing the mechanical design approach with Engineering manager.

Responsible for the specification compliance of designs

Responsible for mechanical parts selection into consideration availability and cost.

Perform DFMEA through Mechanical Tests

Responsible for preparing & presenting mechanical design at design reviews. If required, generates minutes from reviews.

Ensures design files and information are kept up to date and stored in accordance with departmental procedure.

Highlights all mechanical risks to the manager.

Responsible for creation of 2d Drawings to allow manufacture

Responsible for generation of assembly drawing and bill of material.

Responsible for production of customer procurement drawings for new product.

Responsible for meeting to design cost figures.
