  • Improved internal metrics including Vein Clinic growth by 37%, decreasing MRI costs by 40%, and increasing PET volume by 15% achieved during 2019’s fourth quarter. Implemented cost reductions for 2 consecutive years exceeding 1% of operational expenses.
  • Directed daily administrative operations within a fast-paced environment focused on increasing productivity and patient care quality. Implemented new EMR module to improve patient safety as well as staff and administrative efficiency.
  • Delivered strategic oversight of both capital and operational budget planning for 24 cost centers including imaging modalities, respiratory, Cath lab, sleep lab, cardiac rehab, physical therapy, and bio-med. Directed community outreach to drive referrals to Vein Clinic and PET.
  • Planned and directed several capital projects in excess of 1 million dolalrs including a PACS replacement and upgrade, a women’s diagnostic service area project, and a nurse navigation program implementation. Re-allocated staff to other areas as a cost-effective and efficient approach.
  • Supervised and hired team members and leaders, provided individualized coaching and guidance along with handling disciplinary and/or performance issues. Mentored staff and leaders across the organization, resulting in their earning promotions to new leadership roles.
  • Served as an active member of the Patient Safety Team, Workplace Safety Team, Education Committee for the American College of Healthcare Executives, and Chair of the United Way Collective Impact Committee of Northwest Illinois. Held several committees roles including Chair, FHN Standards Team, Chair, and Patient Education Team.
