Main duties and responsibilities

  • Contribute as program department with other developing project proposals, internal and donor reports and another relevant documents where necessary as per Oxfam PROJECT CYCLE TOOLKIT.
  • Focal point for Oxfam WASH local NGO partners and WASH counterparty like GARWASP, LWASC, NWRA and participator in coordination with GHO and GEO.
  • Participate in preparation Oxfam Strategy Response, technical concepts, Tech Guidelines and SOPs.
  • Preparing assessment report, SitRep and presentations and present it at required events
  • Ensure effective planning, implementation and monitoring of interventions through CFW and other relevant components in WASH Sector.
  • Undertake preparation and review of technical design, drawings, technical specifications fro water supply system – Rainfall Water System, Water Supply Schemes, Desalination Stations, Dug Wells, Boreholes, Sewage Schemes, sanitation facilities, WASH in schools and WASH in health Facilities.
  • Manage, monitor (On site and desk monitoring) and quality control of construction of WASH facilities
  • Supervise and manage Oxfam’s all WASH interventions in assigned geography
  • Ensure timely processing of supply requests and delivery of WASH interventions.
  • Closely work with procurements, logistics team to ensure timely delivery of WASH interventions

  • Participate developing strategic response, guidelines and SOPs
  • Developing Assessment report, budget, proposals, Log-Frame, implementation and M&E plan with program manager and Mentoring and Elevation Officer.
