I am the Patricia K. Adjetey, the CEO of my startup nonprofit organization called Adjetey Library Media Center Avocation (ALMCA). I began ALMCA in May of 2014, while I was the Advanced Placement English Teacher at North Lawndale College Prep from August 2013- February 2015.

I am a certified Teacher Librarian. I earned my baccalaureate in Middle and Secondary English Education from University of Illinois at Chicago in summer 2011. Fall 2011, I began and later earned my masters in Library and Information Science with a School Library Media Endorsement from one of the two state ALA accredited school, Dominican University. I am currently applying for my PhD in Library and Information Science at Dominican University for the fall of 2016.

My passion and mission for ALMCA is to advocate for educational institutions that lack an in house Library Media Resource Center. ALMCA is currently in works with its first project!

ALMCA primarily works with Charter school because aligns with my vision and mission state of this nonprofit that I have created based on need.
