Proud graduate of Azusa Pacific University. At APU I obtained my B.A. in Journalism and pursued a minor in Communication Studies. I have extensive hands-on experience in broadcast and print journalism, public and media relations and social media and content marketing. I am driven by goals and have a deep appreciation for deadlines (shocking, I know!). Finally and most importantly, I am a natural, born communicator and have an affinity for writing and the way words are chosen and ordered.

-Singlehandedly creating and executing the marketing strategy of the ModShop brand.
-Managing content created for ModShops 8 social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Google+, Houzz, LinkedIn and Yelp.
-Responsible for engaging social media followers through the creation of interest-provoking content/updates for each social media platform.
-Frequently utilizing HootSuite to increase customer engagement.
-Pitching the brand and specific ModShop products to media outlets.
-Coordinating and corresponding with numerous publications to secure placement of the brand in articles/editorials/television spots/blogs/ads.
-Responsible for copywriting ranging from ad copy & blog posts to press releases, articles, and descriptions featured in a wide range of publications.
-Assisted in merchandising products to be placed on the ModShop website, in ads, articles, social media content, blogs, etc.
-Maintaining the editorial calendar, ModShop blog and social media platforms since May 2014.
-Planning, organizing and attending special events as needed.
