Steel Trading, Sales & Marketing of hot rolled/Cold rolled/GI/PPGI coils/plates/sheets/roofing sheets, structural & Long Products like as Wire rods, TMT, Universal Beams, Angles & Channels, Billets rebars/deformed bars long products mesh & Nails etc.
- Manage all local & Import procurement activities, including ad hoc buys, rate negotiations, contracting, issues resolution, local supplier management, expediting Repair, Installation contracts for various plants & equipments etc. Execute regional buying through regionally sourced suppliers.

- Responsible for all types of procurement of assets & consumables for various industrial related businesses, based on the required scope of work/projects, EPC, Facility Management, MEP, Construction, and Power Substations. Sourcing price negotiations & rate contract finalization of bulk raw materials, Melting Scraps HMS/LMS, consumables, capital items for group wide deliverables to all plant. Managed vendor, plant accounts, finance, HR Admin, ERP, procurement, warehousing, etc.
- Managed Capex, Identifying & developed approved authentic cost effective vendor/supplier for timely procurements of capex items & machineries, raw materials, consumables Ferro alloys, Stainless Steel & other spare parts related to Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Ladle refining furnace (LRF), Continuous Caster Mill (CCM), Billet reheating furnace (BRF), Steel melting shop (SMS), Rolling Mill, Finishing sections, Refractory, Electrodes, Rolls, Moulds, Fluxes, Fuels, Machine Items & other repairing jobs. Other items like cranes, furnace, electrodes, JCB, ladles, motors, material handling equipments etc. Achieved cost effective global procurement of steel raw materials i.e. hot rolled products from various authentic Global sources. Procurements of hot rolled Steel Billets, DRI, LMS, HMS1&2, Scraps & other major steel raw materials around USD 1.5 billion per annum or 3.0 mmtpa of Billets/Melting Scraps & Ferro Alloys.
- Negotiations with key suppliers for upstream operating units, achieved cost savings of more than USD$ 100Mln/year on annual basis. Repair, Installation contracts for various plants & equipments.
- Conducting regular stock audits & Inspections for all group plants. Managing inventories, ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings without hampering the production process. Procurement of hot rolled Billets, DRI, Steel Scraps, HMS, and Shredded, busheling, refractory fuel, gases, alloys, electricity, direct & indirect procurements, Liasioning & negotiations between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and vendors.
