Attached is a copy of my resume which

is a small glimpse of twenty years experience as a freelance sound

engineer,music producer,and A/V technician. My experiences have

been as diverse as mixing the president of the united states,George

Bush, to mixing the School of Rock Allstars. My work has been as

diverse as mixing FOH for the Oakland ballet to mixing an “American

Idol” Christine McFee from inside a float in the first live musical

performance in Rose Parade history. I have been a sound designer on

independent and student films in addition to mixing and recording

numerous indie/experimental rock bands /artists. I have remained

committed to my artistic goal of using my technical skills as

creatively and resourcefully as possible whether in the recording

studio or mixing a live musical act.

I believe I would prove myself an immediate positive asset to your company and

is clients with my easy-going,personable demeanor. I am very good with people

and like always to avoid being the stereotypical sound engineer. This

stereotype unfortunately includes un-personable qualities like being

bitter, grumpy, and generally negative. Over the years I have worked

hard to develop a unique skill in my ability to put artists and

clients at ease in the often stressful creative/technical environment

that is a live stage or the control room of a recording studio.

Remaining focused in chaotic situations and being an easy going

person are skills that I have found often to be way more valuable

than my knowledge and ability to operate various devices and

machines.
