Dedicated
organizational manager with a track record of assuming positions of increasing
accountability in the area of community development. I have been the Executive
Director at the Salvation Army Community Center in Palm Beach County for the
last decade. I am also a member of the Northwest Community Consortium since
2010. My background includes experience in leadership, recreation management, youth
program development empowerment, staff management and development, community
engagement, operational budget management, and public speaking.

- Developed internal and external relationships to promote diversity and engagement strategies for the Northwest Community.
- Proven track record of creating new programs and initiatives for minority empowerment that leads to the inclusion and engagement of inner city youths.
- Manages a staff of twenty, with an annual operational budget over $1,000,000. Duties also include management of a 230,000-square foot facility on three acres in the center of downtown West Palm Beach.
- Oversees the annual review of all compliance activities for licensing of childcare facility.
- Partnered with the City of West Palm Beach and North-West Community Consortium to help revitalize and beautify homes and properties in the downtown area to bring in more single-family home investors and business to the downtown area.
- Nominated to serve in the Northwest Community Consortium Board of Directors to help revitalize the Northwest community of West Palm Beach.
- Doubled community membership and participation in outreach programs.
- Recipient of $150,000 grant from United Way of West Palm Beach.
- Recipient of $32,000 grant from The Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin County.
- Developed a school-age State Certified licensed aftercare program.
- NCCI board member, which is an organization to bring new business and families to the downtown West Palm Beach area.
- Raised funds for and developed a park at the community center with a new playground and multi-purpose activity field.
- Raised funds for annual college tour for under-privileged inner-city youth. The program has a success rate of 88 percent.
- Developed community outreach to help under-privileged children in Central Palm Beach County get school supplies for the start of the new school year.
- Invited to participate in City of West Palm Beach Mayor Task Force to create numerous adult education programs.
